Introduction to Gatti Sports

Gatti Sports has been owned and operated by Marcus Roberts and Trudy Fenton since 1 March 1998. Both have a successful competitive history in athletics, cycling, duathlon and triathlon as well as being involved in the administration of athletics and triathlon. Marcus and Trudy still compete, with recent successes in the Australian Ironman Triathlon Championship.

Gatti Sports is an organiser of Triathlons and Duathlons in South Australia. Gatti's objective is to provide athletes of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy a healthy lifestyle through training for and racing in events that are conducted in a safe and fair environment. It is with this in mind that Gatti events feature three different distances to suit juniors and novices up to the more experienced and elite competitors. Everyone will feel welcome by our friendly and casual approach.

Gatti Sports Triathlon events are conducted during the months of October through April ranging in distance from a 100m swim, 5km cycle and 1km run, up to the Olympic Distance event of a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.

Gatti Sports Duathlon events are conducted during the months of May through September. Incorporated in the Duathlon series is the Triathlon SA Duathlon Sprint Championship.
